If you've ever wanted to get rid of your dark spots as well as your broken blood vessels and are looking for one simple, safe, and effective treatment that can do both, then look no further! Safely and comfortably fade the appearance of skin imperfections and uneven skin tone caused by the sun, age, and diffused redness with our photo rejuvenation treatment. A photo rejuvenation treatment can tackle a multitude of skin concerns such as:

  • Spider Veins
  • Age Spots
  • Sun Spots
  • Sun Damage
  • Mottled Pigmentation
  • Ruddy Complexion
  • Freckles
  • Rosacea

By utilizing the combined bi-polar Radio Frequency (RF) and list energies of eLos technology, we can precisely and safely target and reduce the appearance of pigmented lesions such as freckles, sun damage, and age spots. In addition, vascular lesions, such as diffused redness around the nose and on the cheeks and chin lighten and gradually fade. Unlike other similar treatments that use intense pulsed light (commonly known as IPL or a photo facial), with our new generation of photo rejuvenation the visible light energy is absorbed by the pigment on the skin's surface, while the RF energy stimulates the production of collagen (which supports the skin) from within. By pairing these technologies, our photo rejuvenation treatment offers the very latest and most non-invasive form of skin enhancement. With these basic photo-rejuvenation procedures you may notice a degree of improvement in the appearance of some aspects of your skin. However, by combining RF and light energies into one photo rejuvenation treatment, you will achieve the optimal degree of enhancement to all components of your skin's pigment, diffused redness, pores and texture.

During your photo rejuvenation treatment, following the application of a conductive clear gel, there is a momentary heat sensation that is easily tolerated. While we expect most clients to see a gradual and cumulative improvement of skin tone in approximately 5 sessions, the total number of required treatments depends on your skin's condition. Post-treatment, the skin may appear slightly pink, while the pigmentation will darken. The pinkness of the skin fades in a few hours, with the pigmented lesions flaking off in 5-7 days thereafter. Most clients are able to return to normal activities immediately after treatment.

Ideal candidates for photo rejuvenation treatments have fair to olive skin (I-IV Fitzpatrick). We require a consultation one week prior to the treatment so that we may evaluate your candidacy, discuss desired results, and give you important pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.

Some important notes for clients:
  • Clients undergoing treatment must not be exposed to sun for 2 weeks before and after treatment, or have a fresh tan due to a tanning bed or self-tanner.
  • The more hydrated the skin, the better treatment you will receive and the better your results will be. Drink plenty of water in the days preceding your treatment, and continue to hydrate for several days afterwards.
  • Please be free of any antibiotics or light sensitive medications for 14 days prior to your treatment. The use of anti-inflammatories such as Advil, Motrin, or Aleve are unnecessary and are discouraged pre and post-treatment. The machine has an ice cold tip for maximum comfort. You do not need to use a topical numbing cream before your photo rejuvenation.
  • The liberal use of a gentle moisturizer and zinc based, chemical free sunscreen is necessary post-treatment to keep the skin hydrated and encourage healthy healing.
  • Avoid hot water, harsh scrubbing following your treatment until the skin is healed. You may otherwise resume your normal at-home skincare routine within 24 hours following treatment.
